Paul and I were staying at the 5 star luxury hotel SO Sofitel Bangkok Thailand. We only had a 1 night stay. Yet, as a Le Club Accor Hotel Platinum Member we were able to get a check out until 4pm.
That was great news so that we could relax in the wonderful amenities for longer before our next move.
When we arrived there were more people compared to yesterday. Maybe because we came down later. Most people though were sitting in the other area directly out the front of the afternoon tea buffet.
We decided to sit next to the window and check out the views…
As the sun had been shining all day, it was warm next to the window. Yet, there are sheer grey colored curtains that you can pull across. This will help to block out some of the sun’s rays and heat.
Time To Check Out The Food And Drink!
There were plenty of afternoon tea treats. The set up was really pretty and colorful too.
As I walked around the table there was a fridge filled with soft drinks…
As I was walking to the other side of the table, I saw this… Yet, unfortunately this was a display!
Most of the afternoon tea was made up of sweet treats… I was in heaven..
We saw these tiny Thai desserts. Whoever made these must have attention to detail. They look so pretty!
Paul isn’t a big sweet tooth so he stuck to the savory items, which included these…
The sliders and vegetable tortillas tasted so delicious. Of course, Paul had his fair share of these mini delights.
To top off our SO Sofitel Bangkok Club Signature afternoon tea… we had to gorge on their most wicked and decadent chocolates…
This would have to be one of the best Executive Lounge afternoon teas we’ve had.
