Breakfast Buffet At The Mistral Restaurant In Pullman Bangkok Hotel G

Hotels.com: $99 or Less

Paul and I were staying at the 5 star luxury hotel, Pullman Bangkok Hotel G… with Executive Club Lounge Privileges.

This included having complimentary breakfast in the Lounge. Yet, based on our experiences in the Executive Lounge… we decided to have breakfast in their main restaurant.

You can read our review of the Pullman G Executive Club Lounge HERE.

At Mistral Restaurant, it’s a breakfast buffet and we expected it to have more variety and options.

After taking the lifts down from our room to level 2, a staff member was taking us to a table near the window. The seats looked very plush, with their crisp white seat covers. And it reminded me of something you’d see at a wedding…

However, once we got closer it was warm! The bright sunshine had been heating up that side of the restaurant. So we asked to sit somewhere cooler… and we ended up sitting in this area…

It was a bit darker but definitely cooler than where we were going to be seated. To let you know, this area is to the right of the Mistral Restaurant… BEFORE you get to the main breakfast buffet area.

Just before we sat down, we noticed that the seats were wearing out and fading. Do you think it’s time to upgrade the seats Pullman G?

After sitting down the staff member was offering us tea or coffee, of which we both chose coffee. Initially we were given tea, but then our coffees came out in a pot, which was surprising…

Let’s Check Out The Mistral Restaurant Breakfast Buffet

Near the area where we were sitting was a variety of colorful juices…

Then there was a salad bar and condiments, where we could make our own salads…

Near the salad bar was a section with a variety of yogurts…

And near that was the fruit station with fresh fruits as well as a fruit salad in syrup…

Opposite this was a big station, which included breads, spreads, pastries, muffins, cold cuts, cheese, and more…

Near that was the Asian corner which included curries, rice porridge with condiments, stir fry vegetables, noodles and more…

Then opposite this was a big section full of hot food. And here there was a noodle station, bacon, sausages, baked beans, an egg station, plus heaps more…

And around the corner from this was more food. Here there were more salads, cereals, milk, juices, dried fruits, and more…

So What Did We Think Of The Mistral Restaurant Breakfast Buffet?

There was a decent selection of food, and the quality was fine.

Yet, my most favorite 5 star hotel breakfast buffet is still at the Red Oven Restaurant… in the SO Sofitel Hotel in Bangkok. You can check out my review of it HERE.

So the challenge is out there to see if this can be topped… LOL!

The re-stocking of food was mostly very good, which is what we’d hope in a buffet!

We didn’t think much of the coffee but that wasn’t a big deal.

If we weren’t staying at the Pullman G Hotel, we wouldn’t make a special trip to dine at this breakfast buffet.

Yet, it was fine for a big feed in the morning.
